This striking ensemble, created for our exclusive Georgian Wooden artist dolls “Luther Washington” and “William Noble,” captures the dramatic silhouettes and color-drenched palette of Colonial-era menswear. Rendered in rich gold silk with allover floral sprig embroidery, the ensemble features a fitted, long waisted frock coat with a lavishly pleated split peplum, an integrated waistcoat of embroidered chenille, faux pockets and gold tone buttons. The fitted sleeves terminate in an oversized cuff with a crocheted lace lining and a gold button. A crocheted lace cravat and a striped velvet ribbon are worn at the neck. The matching breeches feature scarlet soutache down the leg, a gold button detail at the cuff and a drawstring waist. Ribbed scarlet stockings and black leather shoes with a velvet ribbon embellishment complete the presentation.
