*Pre-order* William Noble - a Male "Georgian Wooden" for Study and Costuming

$795.00

Please allow us to introduce “William Noble” the male counterpart to our long-awaited Georgian Wooden, “Belinda Noble.” William will prove to be the perfect companion to accompany Belinda on a social call, a stroll or a festive ball, as well as to add a marvelous dimension to your vignettes.
Each doll is expertly crafted and painted by the esteemed doll artist, Karen Clohessy, of Perth, Western Australia, while the mold used to create this gentleman was taken from an actual antique wooden example doll from the Grovian Doll Museum Collection.
William is cast in a high-quality resin that captures all of the nuances of the carved wood of the original doll. His face features beautiful modeling, while his eyes, in traditional glossy black, are framed by delicately dotted brows and eyeliner.
Each wig, of natural flax, was handmade by Michael Canadas and crafted with the styling details that are hallmarks of period hairstyles. (Each wig is unique, non-removable, and will present variations in style.)
William’s body features a head and torso as one, and true to an original doll of this era, his body features jointed upper legs and knees, and his stuffed cotton upper arms attach to the shoulders and terminate in “carved,” graceful, forked hands.
Doll measures: 15 5/8” tall (not including height of wig.)

Pre-order price: $795.00
Costume is not included.
