Based on the rare and exquisite French made Dehors dolls of the 1860’s, Eugénie is made exclusively for the Carmel Doll Shop Boutique by esteemed doll artist Carl Armstrong. The only true example of this rare mold available to the marketplace, Mademoiselle boasts a lovely, oval shaped swivel head on a finely molded and blushed kid-edged shoulder plate with a slight décolleté. Fine features include creamy bisque with beautiful molding and painting including deeply blushed cheeks and rose tinted lips in a sweetly shy, closed mouth smile. Her captivating, almond shaped eyes feature even eyecuts, blue spiral threaded eyes, subtle violet shading, and delicately painted lashes and brows. A brunette mohair wig styled in soft curls frames her face and her pierced ears are ready to don your choice of jewels.
She is on a masterfully sewn kid body with shapely bisque lower arms and legs edged in scalloped kid; one arm is gracefully bent while the other arm is held at her side. Her hands feature articulated fingers and highlighted nail beds and her sculptural quality lower legs feature wonderful molding and painting and individually molded toes with highlighted nailbeds.
