A new fabric in our lineup, “Lilac Dreams” is an exact duplication of an 1850s cotton. This lovely, lightweight, cotton voile features a scattering of flowers within a series of meandering cartouches, all against a crisp white background. This is one of those fabrics that begs to be fashioned into an enfantine era dress.
Sheryl Williams’ “Floral Elegance” pattern was utilized here to create an exquisite dress with our delightful “Lilac Dreams” voile, as shown in the accompanying photo. Our own French Val Lace - 03 (6 yards) was utilized as decoration on both the dress and hat. The hat form can be found in our Millinery Department.
