The most essential component in a turn of the twentieth century ladies wardrobe was a “shirtwaist” - today, known as a blouse. Featuring a practical air, largely due to the simplicity of the design, “Shop Girl” is a classic daywear kit for Fanny and Her Friends. The look is comprised of a batiste blouse, paired with a burgundy cotton skirt, and finished by a vintage windowpane linen vest that boasts shimmering gilt brass buttons. A matching modified cartwheel hat completes this very smart silhouette.
Included in the kit is a paper pattern, instructions and all components needed to create the ensemble pictured here, including the hat.
Also included is a pattern and cotton material to make basic underwear. A very special bonus is the fact that handcrafted in-house leather slippers are included in each kit, as well as a pair of silk stockings.
Doll and jewelry accessories are not included.
