The latest addition to the Fanny & Friends girls is Miss Lily Darling, a Simon & Halbig 1468 from artisan Carl Armstrong Lily is a blue-eyed, blonde-haired, bombshell version of the popular mold. Features include a lovely bisque head with a swivel neck that was given pale coloring suitable for her lighter locks. Further details include blue glass eyes, a blonde mohair wig in a classic style of the period and a black beauty mark.
On a reproduction of the original body design, we have enhanced the original by adding a bisque torso for a smooth visual transition from head to bust, plus a swivel waist feature. Delicate bisque arms are a special modification as well, while the lower torso and legs are of painted composition. Lily’s body paint is a paler shade than that of the other girls.
Lily Darling looks right at home in all of the “pastel flavored” ensemble kits that have been created for Fanny and her friends.
