The gorgeous “Coucher de Soleil” gown is comprised of a fitted and seamed, front closing peplum style bodice in a rich, deep coral-hued silk. The bodice is embellished with a wealth of trims including cotton braid, fine gold soutache, gold tone buttons, and a silky fringe in a soft, jewel red hue. A voluminous, beautifully tailored skirt with a lavish train is comprised of silk in a beautiful shade of taupe and embellished with cranberry red cotton trim, gold soutache braid and gold buttons.
An elegant, hooded cape closes at the throat with tasseled, gold soutache ties and is trimmed with gold soutache and cranberry red cotton braid.
The pattern and materials are available for your sewing pleasure in a complete kit which includes a paper pattern with full instructions and all of the materials needed to create the ensemble. This user friendly kit offers helpful, step by step instructions on stitches and techniques, as well as beautifully curated materials.
Doll, accessories and shoes are not included, however, the pattern and materials for the mandatory crinoline are included.
