Eugénie Dehors, "Crème de la Crème" Ballgown Kit by Michael Canadas
Eugénie Dehors, "Crème de la Crème" Ballgown Kit by Michael Canadas
As an exclusive for the Carmel Doll Shop Boutique, Michael Canadas has created a gorgeous, period accurate 1860’s ballgown kit for Eugénie, our exclusive Dehors doll made by Carl Armstrong. The confection-like “Crème de la Crème” gown is comprised of diaphanous, delicately embroidered vintage organza over a heavy, cream satin skirt with a lavish train. Details include a Watteau-style overlay, tulle lined puffed sleeves, a seamed, fitted bodice with antique fringe and silk satin ribbon embellishments. Three white feather plumes and a length of cream, silk satin ribbon are included to create an elegant hair ornament.
The patterns and materials to create this gown are available for your sewing pleasure in a complete kit which includes a paper pattern with full instructions and all of the materials needed to create the gown. This user friendly kit offers helpful step by step instructions on stitches and techniques, as well as beautifully curated materials.
Doll, accessories and shoes are not included, however, the pattern and materials for the mandatory crinoline are included.
