From the “I Remember Paris” Collection
“Wintergreen” or "Vert d'Hiver" is among the latest ensembles created by longtime and prolific doll costumer, Michael Canadas, with assistance from the Carmel Doll Shop Team. Here we offer a limited number of ensemble kits to fit the Carl Armstrong Rohmer “Mathilde” - approximately 13 1/2” tall. (However, the ensemble will fit the Huret on the resin body with proper fitting as you assemble the costume.)
The "Vert d'Hiver” Ensemble Kit is an exclusive design from the Carmel Doll Shop Boutique, based on an antique, original ensemble found in the Grovian Doll Museum’s collection.
Included in the kit is a paper pattern with complete instructions, plus all of the materials needed to create the two-piece ensemble (dress and cape), quilted muff and coordinating hat. This kit contains a combination of fabrics and trims including green, cream and charcoal silk plaid, coordinating green silk taffeta solid, lace, vintage silk velvet ribbon, picot trim, gold-plated buttons (designs may vary) and a pre-covered hat form.
The silk plaid is a Carmel Doll Shop exclusive, created from an antique document, as is the solid green silk taffeta.
