Ensemble Kit
"Scottish Shortbread" is among the latest fashions created by longtime and prolific doll costumer, Michael Canadas, with assistance from the Carmel Doll Shop Team. Here, we offer a limited number of dress kits to fit the Carl Armstrong Rohmer “Mathilde” - approximately 13 1/2” tall. (However, the ensemble will fit the Huret on the resin body with proper fitting as you assemble the costume.)
The holiday-inspired"Scottish Shortbread" dress Kit is an exclusive design from the Carmel Doll Shop Boutique. Included in the kit is a paper pattern with complete instructions, plus all of the materials needed to create the dress, plus the quilted hood and muff. This kit contains a combination of fabrics and trims including two variations of a green, cream and red silk plaid, coordinating green silk taffeta solid, lace, vintage silk ribbon, and a brass cape closure.
The silk plaids and the solid taffeta are all Carmel Doll Shop exclusive fabrics, created from antique documents.
