Who doesn’t love a man in uniform? Our dashing Édouard is no exception to this rule. As an exclusive for the Carmel Doll Shop Boutique, Sheryl Williams has created a period accurate 1860’s military uniform ensemble kit for Édouard, our exclusive artist made Dehors doll by Carl Armstrong.
The striking costume features a two-piece suit with a mandarin collar and is composed of fine navy blue wool lined in cotton lawn and embellished with vintage gold soutache braid, gold epaulets and an array of colorful doll-sized ribbons and medals (incuded). A hat of cardinal red wool embellished with fine gold soutache braid, vintage style findings and a chain chin strap completes the ensemble.
A pattern and material for a one-piece long-john suit in a fine quality grey jersey cotton is included. The patterns and materials are available for your sewing pleasure in a complete kit which includes a paper pattern with full instructions and all of the materials needed to create the uniform, long-johns, and hat. This user friendly kit offers helpful step by step instructions on stitches and techniques, as well as beautifully curated materials.
