The stunning “Violette” gown is comprised of a fitted and seamed, front-closing, peplum-style bodice in iridescent, dusky violet silk. The bodice is embellished with a rich variety of trims including purple cotton braid, fine gold soutache trim, tiny gold tone buttons, and a silky fringe in celadon green.
A voluminous, beautifully tailored skirt with a lavish train is comprised of rich, violet-hued silk and embellished with purple wool trim, gold soutache braid and tiny gold buttons.
The pattern and materials are available for your sewing pleasure in a complete kit which includes a paper pattern with full instructions and all of the materials needed to create the gown. This user friendly kit offers helpful, step by step instructions on stitches and techniques, as well as beautifully curated materials.
Doll, accessories and shoes are not included, however, the pattern and materials for the mandatory crinoline are included.
